I have had a lot of experience with hospital here in Buenos Aires, and would therefore like to share my experience and some guidelines. First of all, we are strongly recommended to stay away from public hospital because of the low quality and the lack of new technology. Therefore we must go to private hospitals to find the kind of quality as we have in Scandinavia. The hospital that Kulturstudier recommend us is called Hospital Aleman. This is a private German hospital in Recoleta, and has the reputation of being one of the very best hospitals in town. All doctors and specialists, as well as most of the people in the receptions, speak English. They are all very clever and you can be sure to be taken seriously and get the help you need. As it is a private hospital, everything is very effective. For example I took blood tests and x-ray, and got the answers about one hour later. Some things will take longer, depending on what they need to do, but they always work as effective as possible.
When you study with Kulturstudier, you have an insurance called Gouda. If something were to happen, you would have to contact the Gouda Alarm in Denmark. They answer quickly and are always very willing to help you the best they can. I have a good experience with this insurance, and would highly recommend it. The insurance has doctors that evaluate your case, which feels very safe. They are also able to fix pre-paid appointments at the hospital very quickly.
As a conclusion I strongly recommend Hospital Aleman and Gouda insurance. You may feel confident and safe!
