My studies in Vietnam gave me so many amazing experiences, both culinary, physically and socially and I would highly recommend everyone to go and experience the country first hand. The  course, development studies, gave me an extensive knowledge of how development works and what it is, along with enabling me to travel around South East Asia afterwards. And what a journey it has been so far! I’ve been surprised, disappointed, overjoyed, provoked, bubbly and tired, and have definitely had by perceptions of norms and logic challenged!

Since leaving Vietnam and then Laos, we have spent two weeks in Thailand (learning to scuba dive) and are now on our way to Indonesia for two months. I truly hope some of what I’ve written will help you decide whether the course is for you and give you the desire to travel some of the beautiful countries in the region.
