Festus Boamah
Dr. Boamah holds Masters and PhD degrees in Development Geography from the University of Bergen, Norway and a Bachelor Degree in Geography & Resource Development from the University of Ghana, Ghana. His earlier research focused on Livelihood Impacts of Biofuel ‘Land Grabbing’ and Re-configuration of State-Society Relations in Ghana/Africa. He is currently doing a post-doctoral research/(Habilitation) at the University of Bayreuth, Germany. His current research focuses on Decentralised Solar PV Electrification and Socio-Technical Systems in Ghana and Kenya. Dr. Boamah has published research works in Geoforum, Development & Change, Review of African Political Economy, Journal of International Development and book chapters in Zed-Books and Edward Elgar Publishing.
