Marianne Haugh
Marianne Haugh holds a Master of Science (MSc) in International Relations from London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Cand.Mag. Degree (undergrad) in Social and Political sciences, consisting of: Comparative Politics, Social Anthropology, Spanish language and Latin America Studies. She has also studied a year of Practical Pedagogics. Marianne previously worked as a Senior Adviser in the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) in the Civil Society Department where she coordinated the Norwegian Initiative for Climate and Forest Support to Civil Society. She has lived and worked in several developing countries, but her main region of interest is Latin America where she has lived in Ecuador and Nicaragua. Marianne currently works as a programme advisor for SAIH, students’ and academics’ international assistance fund, a small Norwegian solidarity organization working for academic freedom and students rights internationally.
